The chief virtues of a Kel-Tec P-40 (or P-11) is that it is a very small, light, concealable weapon. Add-on lasers would offset those virtues.
Crimson Trace lasers are built into grip panels. The P-40 and P-11 have polymer frames (with integral grips) and can't use that type of device.
Your only hope is to find lasers built to replace the guide rod -- which is unlikely for the P-11/P-40, as that guide rod is very small. Those that are added to the frame would negate any concealability of the gun.
Practice a lot and forget the laser. Even if you shoot a couple of cases of ammo, it'll still be cheaper -- and you'll be more effective.
