Yep, I still haven't had a misfeed yet. I haven't touched my factory hi-caps since I got the eagle mags. (which is why I bought them) They feed just fine.
negatives:
- They don't have the solid heavy feel of the factory mags
- The baseplates are harder to get off (you have to remove a couple of screws... not too bad
- you can sometimes feel the mag spring rattle while you are firing... no big deal
positives:
- Haven't had a misfeed or heard of any misfeeds.
- can fit 19 rounds into the mag after they are broken in. Even though they are 18rd mags
- I bought them at 14 bucks a piece. (1/4 as much as used factory hi caps)
- stainless steel construction
- flush fit with 1/2" butt plate
CDNN has taken off the super sale on these mags though. They are now like 19 bucks a pop. The mags are great for range mags. At 14 a piece I would say they are a steal. I can't guarantee they will work for you but they work fine for me and my cousin. Its really cool having the extra 4 rounds too.
There are still guys that are going to whine about factory hi-caps being the only mags a real man would buy, But for range mags... if they feed a round every time you pull the trigger I am happy. I can't afford buying enough hi caps for home defense and range mags. So eagle is what I carry to the range.
Anyone else buy these mags? Any negative experiences?
