Large hands and stock grips are a problem

I am looking to purchase my first automatic (9mm) and find that when holding most guns my finger extends way past the trigger due to the size of my hands. This makes for an extremely awkward trigger pull. The only gun that comes close to being comfortable is the S&W SW99. If anyone has ideas on aftermarket grip enhancements or a gun I may have overlooked I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you tried a HK USP ? I was going to buy one in .45ACP but the grip was too big for my hand, I ended up getting a Sig P220.

Have you looked at the Beretta/Taurus line. I've got the Taurus PT99 w/ Hogue grips and it fits my hand very well.

A little hard to conceal unless your a big guy (6'4", 225lb). I also have a tiny Keltec P11 and that thing is always pinching my fat trigger finger.

If the 2nd is antiquated, what will happen to the rest.
"the right to keep and bear arms."

Though I don't own one...
Personally don't like the triggers...
The GLOCK MODEL 21 in .45ACP has a very large grip made for BIG HANDS...
My first two personal choices are 1911s and the SIG SAUER P220 in .45ACP...
The 1911s come in many different sizes...
The SIG P220 is not a small gun, but because of its slimline design it fits a wide variety of hands...
If you want revolver, those also come in a wide variety of sizes/calibers and some are very, very LARGE!!!

HAPPY HUNTING!!!
