Any around in 45 LC? 45 ACP? 44 spl? or something "large"?
I know the *&* Victory is in 38 SPL. Anything more meaty?
C-

S&W or Colt Model 1917. In .45 ACP. Great pistols, I have both and prefer the Smith slightly over the Colt.

Yup, Colt and S&W 1917s. Pretty hard to beat.

There are also some older SAA types. Here is a Herbert Schmidt made sometime pre-WWII. It's in 357MAG.

And you can also find the S&W 1917 in 45acp that was part of the 1937 Brazilian Contract.

The little one is a Colt Police Positive in 38S&W, the others are Brazilian Contract Smiths in 45acp.

Also avaiable are the various handejector models

of S&W both the Triple-lock and the "double lock" avaiable in 44 special and 45 long colt. Origional 357's (the registered ones) from the 30's qualify as well. The new service Colts were avaiable in various calibers up to WW II when the tooling was destroyed. This makes ALL new Service revolvers in every caliber a C&R.
Also a variety of SAA's were avaiavle in a variety of big bore cartridges - 38-40, 44-40, 45 lc etc are the more common ones. Some of the older Webley and enfield revolvers are C&R as well in the large british calibers 455,450 etc.
Hope this helps a bit.:)

Ditto on the 1917. Also the S&W 2nd Model Hand Ejector .44 Special. There was one over a gunsamerica.com going for only $289.
