i was doing some seating depth experiments with a unprimed dummy round to compare its C.O.L with other bullets i have.
the bullet has a large groove bigger than a crimp groove which is usually only a couple millimeters.maybe its to reduce its bareing space on the rifling like the way triple shock bullets are ribbed.
in any case my desired C.O.L puts the case mouth non crimped in between this about 4mm groove.
will this affect pressure or accuracy or does this not matter
