Today the Mayor and Police Chief both claimed a victory last night since the police responded according to plan . Is anyone going to enlighten them that the plan was stupid . Getting your patrol car burned is like someone taking your gun . You GOTTA be embarrassed . They are so afraid of offending anyone that they let anything happen so as to avoid criticism . These people have gotten away with so much for so long that soon they will be allowed to do ANYTHING !!!

Well if they really want to know how to treat the problme 12years from now (12 years from the last time the NBA gave .. no uh I mean Lakers won the title ) ask the SAPD we had no problems in back in '99
 
The PBA fella was on T.V. this morning and was he pissed . The public thinks that the cops just hung out . The people didn't know that the orders were to do just that . The new Chief should have shown faith in his own policy by sitting in an unmarked car in front of the arena as the game ended . Of course Hizzoner The Mayor would be seated next to him . They could make small talk as the revellers waved to them and shared their joy at winning the Championship . Then in true "Cop Rock" fashion they join the merry makers in a rousing chorus of " I love L.A. " . I wonder why he didn't .
