Ladysmith-like carry revolver?

I bought my wife a Ladysmith about 3 years ago. (She likes it, though she prefers her Ruger Birdshead Vaqueros when we go to the range). :)

I have to admit, as a carry revolver, it is pretty nifty. The only problem, it is TOO SMALL for my hands.

What would be a similar sized frame revolver y'all would recommend?

Thanks

There have been Ladysmiths in both J and K-frames. Which did you get your wife, the 5 or 6 shooter?

I assume you must be talking about the J frame. At any rate, a grip change should fix you right up. J frame and K frame grips come in all shapes and sizes.

Mac,
I got her the 5 shot....

Which S&W (or other maker) J-frame is that small? I haven't been able to find one?

Get some Hogue grips. I put them on my j-frames for that very reason, big hands need bigger grips, check out Hogue Auction for good deals.

If you want a new revolver then I would recommend the Taurus 85 series. I have owned one for seven years now and it is very reliable and accurate and half the price of a smith. Or just change the grips on your SW.
