LA Times Poll, Please VOTE!

Ummm...NO!

Not with these being the only choices:

1)Yes, buying guns is still too easy in some states.
2)No, we need better enforcement of existing restrictions.

Now if the poll had something akin to: There are two many restrictions on the right to keep and bear arms. Let's repeal them.

Then I would take part in this poll

Why do so many people have a phobia about registering to view a newspaper's content?

Don't you know that John M. Browning (with a Yahoo e-mail address) LOVES to read newspapers where you have to register?

Some require you to give your actual email and confirm through an email they send you.
People don't want to deal with the junk emails they will get by "registering" or deal with the hassles that sometimes come with trying to get off the mailing list.

No, there are some sites that require you to give them a VALID e-mail address. Not your actual e-mail address.

That's the ENTIRE point of having a blind e-mail address that's used only for things like this.

I have three, one of which is strictly for signing up for on-line periodicals that require registration, and which in no way is connected to my real name; another is for on-line purchases from known vendors, and yet another one is for non-periodical websites that require registration. Like... this one.

Not a hard thing to do with web-based e-mail accounts.
