Thanks, fal308, for the good info.
Since it is a CAI sporter, it already had a metric lower with a metric plunger. The original pin was ground down. After loosening it drifted out. Found the bore of the hole was stepped.
Got a roll-pin to fit the narrow bore, but it still had just a smidge of play. Drove a brad into the pin to expnd it and snug it up. Seems to work just fine!
(Also took the opportunity to polish the apprpriate surfaces of the mag catch- much smoother now!)
