I have a consecutive numbered cased set of replica Spiller & Burr revolvers.
Marking on barrel is L.A. Jensen Lake City FLA.

Has anyone ever heard of any type black powder firearm manufactured by
"L. A. Jensen Lake City FLA".
 
I have never heard of a manufacturer by that name, and nothing turns up on Google. It might be a retailer who just wanted his name on the guns, or even the original owner. How is the marking put on, roll stamp or engraved?

I saw from on of your posts last year (02-01-2007, 05:56 PM Uberti 1860 Army) concerning Replica Arms Company you replied to a Post that Replica Arms Co. was aquired by Navy Arms Co./Val Forgett. I am doing some research on that subject for a client who has a pair of 1810 Kuntucky Dueling pistols marked REPLICA ARMS CO. Do you happen to know when Navy Arms/Val Forgett made that aquisition? Thanks.
