Got my new MK9 last week. Took it apart and the bore looked like crap. Cleaned it and no change. Streaked, spotted and pitted looking. Called Kahr and spoke to David. He said send it in. Got a brand new barrel back today. 8 days turnaround time - pretty good. David was very helpful. Too bad it slipped through QC in this condition (Dave said it was a defective plating job), but Kahr did a good job of making it right. Will take it for a test drive tomorrow.
 
I'll second that! Have only dealt with them twice(once to swap the .40 cal mag that came with my K9 for a 9mm one, and once for a slide stop on my MK9), both times they were great.
