Krinks M97 American-made AK variant

I've been thinking about adding an AK to my collection and I'm curious about the Krinks M-97. There was an article about it in Small Arms Review a while back and it sounded good.

I haven't seen one in person though. How does it compare with the Romanian SAR-1? They both seem to be in the same price range ($350-400) but I only found two ads for the M97 on the internet while the SAR's are all over the place.
 
The only thing I've heard about Krinks was regarding some of their receivers that were sold to build kit guns. The Receivers were reported to be slightly too long. I haven't heard anything about fully assembled guns.
