Krebs Custom SOCOM .308 AK

As a 16" saiga owner and shooter I thoroughly enjoyed that video and agree that is one sweet unit. Mine with standard furniture and russian Kobra red dot turned a sub-2" group at 220 yards for five shots. The only time I ever saw another AK do that was with a milled Arsenal which clover leafed three shots at 100 yds.
Thats some nice work on that rifle. Hopefully my AR-10 target carbine will shoot that good, but even if it did the AK would have it beat hands down in the robustness and reliability department.

Only one comment on the rifle: When the safety is in the up position it should completely close off the action so sand and small rocks can't mess with the FCG. The modified safety lever has a bolt catch cutout which theoretically could let in course sand. I like that lever but personally would leave off the cutout.

I've yet to see any AKs safety lever tightly seal the action from the ingress of debris. There is usually ample room for dirt to slip past the safety and carrier into the action. I've purposely put sand, dirt and other debris in the action of my Polytech AK and it continued to work fine. The tiny amount it dirt that would get in through that hole likely wouldn't cause the AK any problems.

It's fun reading all the comment from folks about how inaccurate AKs are. Most wouldn't believe 1 MOA AKs exist. They do. ;)
