The Knoxville, Tennessee Police Department has scheduled still another gun "buy back", financed with your tax dollars and courtesy of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, King Willy and Price Albert.
This thing will be held on Saturday, August 5th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Information on location will follow.
The Tennessee Tyranny Response Team will be there to provide educational information and advice to those who attend and also engage in other legal activity. The KPD has previously pledged cooperation with us, and other citizens, and we expect no problems unless an attempt is made to keep us in a designated "protest area".
Unlike the last "buy back" when TRT Tennessee consisted of one person, we anticipate, and encourage, a larger turnout this time around. We will also make a video/still/audio record of the main event and any peripheral activity. If you are in East Tennessee we'd appreciate your support. As the old saying goes, "bull s... walks and performance talks". We'd like to hear from you if you plan to be here.
We are also investigating a possible legal challenge to this event.
If you have a junker gun you'd like to send us we'll reimburse your shipping costs and use the profit to help finance our activities. Let us know if you want to do this and we'll work out the details.
The KPD has also launched a "snitch on your neighbor" program whereby the snitch can earn $100.00 by calling
the KPD hotline and turning in a neighbor for possessing an illegal gun. We should see some interesting situations develop from this Stalin/Hitler/Castro technique. More on this later.
