I tried a search for anything about these handguns and couldn't find any info. I don't much about them except that it is a German Co and owning one would cost a great deal of money. Has anyone out there seen/fired/owned one of these? Can you share the experience with us? Any information would be interesting.

To expensive !
A friend of mine bought one several years ago (357 Mag.).
A superb finish , a good shooter but for the price he could have bought several Smiths' or Rugers to name a few.
I believe he paid more than 25oo$ for the piece.
I hope this can help.

Manufacturing began in 1955 in Ratzeburg, Germany. Importers have included Mandall Shooting Supplies, Scottsdale, AZ, Beeman Precision Arms, Santa Rosa, CA. and Osborne's, Cheboygan, MI.

A .22 rimfire revolver was introduced in 1967 and was offered with an auxillery magnum cylinder. It featured adjustable sights and trigger, a choice of 5.25 or 6" barrel and weighed 2.6 lbs. Suggested retail is $3,700.

The center fire revolver is offered in .22 Remington Jet, .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R mag., .357 and 9mm. It shares many of the same features as the rim fire with additional barrel lengths of 2.5, 3 and 4"'s, with the same retail price.

Only one semiauto is offered, which was introdcued in 1986, but not imported in the US until 1988. It is available in 9mm, .357 SIG, .40 S&W and 9X21mm. The semiauto, which is double action, features adjustable sights, all steel constrution and walnut grips. Suggested retail is $4,700.
I hope this helps.

Great information, Gunslinger!
I'm guessing from the price though is that the only thing that would help Jonpod now is a donation of $4,000......hehehe

Incredible....A fool and his money are soon parted. I'll stick with my Sig220, Glock19, H&K Tactical, Colts(Dective Special, Mustang, & 1911A1 Army issue) , FIE.380, and Grendel.380(piece of junk). Would like to add Bushmaster .223, Kimber 45, Makarov 9x18, CZ 45auto and maybe a H&K P7M8 and a SIg 228. Maybe when I get all of these I can trade them for a Korth or two....Yeah Right!

This is inaccurate.

The Korth pistol is a single action 9 x 19mm without a manual safety, hence its importability problems. A shooting partner of mine managed to get one into the country in 1989 before ATF discovered the nature of the damned thing (the bureaucrat who signed off on the importation license thought that it was a revolver!) and said "No mas!"

He paid something like $2100 for it, but then he does things like that. He sold it several years ago for around $3000 when he discovered that it wasn't the only one in the country anymore, that someone in Florida was somehow bringing them in.
