Not to point out the obvious or anything - but you guys may have noticed that I hardly ever come near the Legal Political section of TFL.
I just cant stomache a lot of it...

I just got to vent a little here.

What the hell is up with the Democrap Party?
Why do they INSIST on hanging on to every freakin word regurgitated by a Kenedy? Who the hell actually cares what JFK's Great Grandkids think about current events?

Camelot is dead... Its over. It needs to go away. The Kennedy's need to go away.
The Democraps need to go away.

This whole repulsive convention crap needs to go away.
 
John Kennedy was the first of the great TeeVee Presidents who did nothing but use the White House for a brothel. He surrounded himself with educated idiots who guaranteed our defeat in Vietnam. He smiled and joked his way into power. He was the first Bill Clinton. Of course the Democrats are obsessed with JFK. He elevated facile and mendacious television manipulation to a science. The Democrats would be lost without him.

Do you think they'd bother to venerate Thomas Jefferson?
 
Well, I'm sure I'll be able to offend a lot of people with this comment, but .... these days, I put Democrats right up there with professional wrestling and the Jerry Springer show ... ;)

With rare exception, I really have nearly zero respect for Democrat politicians and their supporters. The entire party seems to be based upon misinformation and lies, class warfare, pandering to those who want to steal from their fellow citizens, and seeing the Constitution as simply a bump in the road to the 'better' world they desire.

I am a Democrat. Hate the people that run the party,even in the Great State of Oklahoma. Not all of us feel and act the way the TV shows. These people are very RED,with exceptions.

You should see what I get to pick from for our Dist.6 US Congress race. One is of the third sex type. The other is an Educator. This guy wants to test each child and have the State decide if the child should go to college/trade school or just start at McDonalds. (commie?)

At the time of JFK Jr. got himself killed and all the media hype, just got me down. I blew a fuse. You see my oldest son saved a kids life. Stupid kid just about drank himself to death,alcohol poisioning. He got the kid to the hospital. The kid was in for two days. The parents did not even thank my Son,(good republicans?)
The point is Jr. is ramed down my gullet and some one thats got a brain and stones is not even thanked.

Now you got my pressure up. :)

Wouldn't the best situation for our country be a contest between Harry Truman and Barry Goldwater? How about Dick Nixon and Hubert Humphrey?

ALL of the listed candidates/Presidetns were patriots. We can't say that anymore.

Jeff Thomas, I sometimes watch the Springer show. I don`t know many Demo`s and his show remindes me that I don`t care to socialize with them. You see the same crap on national TV every night in their S#!t coms, just toned down some but still has the same crap.
 
Starting with Ol' Joe Kennedy, a murderous bootlegger, the entire Kennedy Klan is nothing more than common white trash. Very, very wealthy white trash, but still, just white trash.

And the King in the Red House?? just another piece of common white trash who got very, very lucky.

How dare you critize the democrats. Al Gore said he was going to give me free health care, make sure that I have plenty of money for retirement and steal money from the rich and give it to me. What a nice man.
 
George, since you're one of the many who don't often visit this area, let me ask: how can we get some of the folks from the handgun, rifle, reloading and other forums over here? They need to know what's going on, whether it's depressing or not.

I'm one of those folks. I assume it is bad and prepare for what may be worse. Trying to influence State and Federal action is futile. I'm trying to push it back at the local level as a small town councilman by repealing or stopping what I can in the way of regulations, restrictions, etc. Maybe I'll eventually push through a local "shall issue" concealed carry for anyone who can pass the instant background check. This was tried at the state (Colorado) level but died after Columbine.

But they are short visits as longer exposures can prove to be dangerous.

That and I get less and less articulate as my frustration and anger level rises...

Case in point - Lou, the Green Guy in the Incredible Hulk series didn't have very many good lines.
 
I only allow myself to visit legal & political once a week. More than that and I get really cranky. I find that that keeps me pretty much up on current events and keeps the blood pressure down.
 
Gentlemen(and ladies) my solution, buy more ammo! My humble opinion is that there are too many fronts to fight, though we are all trying. Everyone of us who own a gun should be fighting but it seems that few will. Yeah, L&P is a tough place but those of you who don't frequent it should even if it does effect the BloodPressure. Knowledge is power! The NRA touts that there are 80 million gunowners. If that's true why are we getting creamed at every turn? Why is there any compromise on gunownership? I have already decided that (as Charleton said) because there are 22,000 gunlaws I am probably already an outlaw. If that be so then so be it! There are no degrees to the outlaw, if you are you are. George, if you and some of the others frequented more, you would know what's up with the Demonazi's. They lack logic and have their own definition of "truth". As we know, there are several Democrats who know the truth and will vote accordingly, I just pray a bunch of them begin to see Al for what he is, and the transparency of the attempts by the 'spin-Doctors' to make him look like something he's not. Course, the folks who think "wrastling" is real will probably vote for him! Ok, I'll stop now, I think I promised you once that I would try to be a "kinder, gentler,SOB"! Just suffice to say, before this is over it is going to take all of us, get all you can involved.
 
Maybe I'm a massochist, but I love it here. I think that it's more fun than any computer game I could be playing. I mean, if TFLers would get off their collective ass and really make some noise in the legislature, we could be shaping the future of our own country. That's what free society is all about, and I love it.
