I have the Spec Ops stock and get cheekslap from the gun whenever I shoot it. I have tried all positions. The only one that works is my face off the pad, so sight picture sucks. I DID notice that the guys on videos that Knoxx posts on their site are firing that way, probably to make their product seem better. Anyway, I do NOT get the cheek slap with my Mossberg 930, so I think a more traditional stock is a benefit. I have a limbsaver on the 930, and it really makes a difference.
