Did you get the .50 cal. or the new .45? I have 2 of the older, last years model, with the 22" barrels. Used it on 4 deer last year and 1 this year. I too have been impressed after having a Remington 700ML that was a real piece of crap.

I got the .50 cal with the 26" barrel. I heard the .45 cal is supposed to be sweet. Couldnt be happier with my .50 though. Have you used yours in the rain? I had somebody tell me last knight that they had a problem with the primer getting wet in their DISC rifle. I dont know the specifics, ie it could have gotten wet before he used it etc.
