Bottom is Walther PP in .380, select fire, this may be the (a??) prototype as it has 1940 commercial serial & proofing.

Upper gun is Star M-50, select fire, 9BB cal., stock is numbered to the gun. I have shot this one, doubt I ever fire the PP.

Yup.......I have a bunch of it. The slide says 9MM/38. Best I can figger, "38" is early .38 Colt Auto, not .38 Super. Apparently a biggy difference, broke the extractor, had to make one. No more Colt ammo for me.!!!!

I never heard of a full auto PP, either.
I did see at a gun show the Walther PP made as a target trigger testbed for the 1936 Walther Olympia.
