Ok, it's only one man's opinion...

Here's the story; the windage screw on the rear sight of my Custom Eclipse II sheared of during firing (Which was a bummer, to say the least).

So I overnighted the slide to Kimber on Monday 1-14-02. I came home from work yesterday, and low and behold, a box from Kimber was waiting for me. New rear sight, all ready to go!

I was a client service rep for 8 years (No, I'm not Homicidal (Good Drugs :D )) so I really appreciate service that's above and beyond.

Kudos to the guys from Yonkers, NY!!

One of my Kimbers had a problem with grip screw bushings. I mangled one that was loose. I called Kimber to get the factory parts. The said they would send me a couple, I got eight stainless bushings in the mail the next day.:)

Lucky for you that you didn't have a SIG. While they arguably make the best handguns on Earth, their customer service does leave a whole bunch to be desired.

SIG potential employees are thoroughly evaluated to make sure that they come from unhappy childhoods and/or broken marriages that have recently ended in divorce with large alimony/child support payments. Then, once hired, they are monitored to make sure they offer absolutely no help...all the while insulting the customer and making sure they wish they had never called. Any who can't live up to this low level of customer service are quickly banished. Those who force otherwise loyal SIG owners to sell their entire SIG collection and move on to another manufacturer are quickly rewarded and promoted.

No one has been promoted due to getting rid of me yet, but they keep trying :D

I hear HK has poor customer service. It must be because they are so out of practice.

I called them once...for a brochure. My HK's require nothing but CLP.

For you guys with negitive replies,,, I've seen problems with ANY make of gun.

Yes, Kimber has good service. M-2
