Kimber's new Custom Defense Package

I have last year's Ultra Elite which is probably comparable to this years Ultra CDP. Feature-wise, the difference is in size compared to the Pro CDP (from a brief review). I like all the features on these guns for carry purposes. The melt-down is just fine as is the checkering on the front strap and so on. Kimber is known for its accuracy. With the fixed sights, practice a little with the ammo you place to use and then you will know what to expect to hit when you aim. I just happen to like the smaller version...
 
Recently aquired Pro CDP. :)

Absof#*kinglutely LOVE IT. :D :D :D :D :D

Minor trigger work was required, about 200 rounds of break-in and it shoots like a dream. It has replaced all my other carry guns except in times of extreme descresion.

The quality is great, it shoots to point of aim and it looks as good in person as on the web-site.

I prefer armed combat to unarmed combat. It's easier on the knuckles.
 
I have got the cash sittin right here. I am just lamenting over the Pro CDP or Compact-I am at odds with myself I have handled both sizes the little grip doesn't really bother me cuz I have small hands, but the full size grip is more natural to me, but I need good concealment!!!! AAAAHHHHH, chioces are a b*tch. Thinking about ordering kydex holster for the piece and double mag pouch today. The gun shop also has last years Pro elite which looks good too, just the reverse of this years , blued slide and satin lower, think the slide will show too much wear though.
 
funinsun: I have seen friends buy the compact and add a mag well (Ed Brown or Smith and Alexander). The mag well adds just a bit to hold on to without adding too much.

Sometimes the simplest sh*t passes me right by!!! Good tip.. gonna go compact and maybe add the well later, 'bout to kiss 1000+ in cash goodbye!! Don't ya just looove the gun addiction thing.
