Kimber X-Carry's

I was in the gun store the other day and really- for the first time- looked at a 1911 type gun. I saw the Kimber Pro(?) Carry stainless "pimp" gun and thought it was a great looking piece of machinery. I did not "long" for it like my P99 .40 but...

It is like seeing a good looking woman right after fooling around with your wife; you wonder, but are still content.

Any impressions of this gun? I need a rifle for defense and a shotgun for duckhunting (my new (to be) hobby) before I dare get another pistola, but...

I have an Ultra Carry, and I really like it. I would recommend it as a carry gun.

What did you mean by 'pimp' gun?

I had one. For about 3 days.
I liked it at first - but after shooting up my personal ammo and really looking at it... decided I needed something BEEFIER.
Springfield.
Perfect.

I have a Kimber Stainless Compact... Would you say your SA is "Beefier" than that?

I just don't cotton to alloy framed weapons.

Pimp gun? What did it have on it, pearl handles? Personally I do not frequent places that sell "pimp" guns. Next thing you will be asking about Jennings. Cheez.
