Kimber Ultra Ten II - When's it hittin' the streets??

I heard from a Kimber dealer that this model has been delayed because the ATF will not approve the foreign made receiver for importation because the frame does not make "points." Kimber is switching to complete domestic production as it is able.

Thanks Trevor. I await with fervor. Want a mid-range weapon between my Kimber Pro Carry HD, and a Keltec P32 that I plan to acquire soon.

I'd consider a G-27, as my Bro' has one and loves it, but I'd like to stay .45, if I could.

I'm assuming you want something with a larger capacity then the regular old Kimber Ultra Carry. While it's a bit more expensive then the Kimber, you might look at the STI VIP

and there's always the Para Ordnance P10-45

EDIT
I almost forgot...the polymer frames for the Ultra Ten II are built by the Isreali company Bul. I wonder if they make an ultra compact doublestack 1911 of their own (I couldn't find one on their web site however) http://www.bultransmark.com/
