Kimber Stainless Target II Grips

I am thinking of getting some new grips for my Springfield Government Model 9mm 1911. I was looking and handling a Kimber Stainless Target II at the LGS and I really like the grips on it.

The specification sheet says they are synthetic and that's about all it says. What kind of grips can I get for my Springer that would closely resemble the ones on the Kimber Stainless Target II

Grips can be like underwear. Change them often to give your gun a new look and feel. If you do a search on Amazon, Ebay, or most any search engine, you will find a wealth of information about grips that are for sale. Might also want to check out www.gunbroker.com.

Rubber is, well, rubber. Softer and has some "give" to it. G10 is very hard... Feels harder than regular wood. Checkering on G10 grips, if not knocked down, is pretty aggressive.

Yes, the Kimber ones are just black rubber grips, similar to what Hogue puts out. Nothing wrong with them.

I have some VZ Operator II G10 grips on my Dan Wesson Specialist. They are actually a little more aggressive than I prefer. I also have some G10 grips from Universal Outfitters on my S&W PC1911, and I love those grips.
