Kimber Micro

I haven't been on for awhile so I would like to say hello again. I was in the market for a .380acp for summer carry or times when I wanted something light to carry.. I checked a few guns out. I looked at the Sig P238 which I liked. The Ruger LCP just didn't like the feel at all. I then found the Kimber Micro Carry, when I held it it felt comfortable in my hand a lot more than the Sig. I have several Glock's and slowly started to transition to 1911's . Never thought I would but I own about 3 1911's now and I shoot them the most. I guess the reason for the purchase of the Kimber Micro was because of the familiar grip of the 1911. Anyone own this gun and what are your thoughts?

I own a Colt Mustang, which is what the Micro is a copy of. It is NOT a 1911, but it's a very nice little pistol. Mine is all steel so it's a bit heavy to drop into a pocket, but I carry it in a very minimal belt slide type holster and it's easy to conceal.

I've shot the Sig 238 and had my mind set on getting one for a while. I went into the local gun shop and saw a Kimber Micro Raptor there and the finish caught my eye and it fit my hand like a glove. Although I didn't get to shoot it, it i definitely on my list of guns to get.

The specs on the Kimber SOLO are very close to the Micro. I, too, like the feel of those guns. However, I wanted 9mm, so I wound up with a SOLO. I think both of them are nice guns. In .380 I have the Sig p262, just bought a new Browning BDA and a new Beretta 84. Both should be in my hands tomorrow.
