My Kimber Custom Stainless caused me a few problems at the Tennessee State IDPA Championships in October. To say I was fustrated is an understatement. I called Brian up and told him to "Fix it". Sent him the pistol, 4 magazines, and about 125 rounds of ammo. Also, asked him to stipple the front strap and get rid of the plastic main spring housing and replace it with a matching stippled stainless one.

Tonight, I went to a range up here in Detroit to see how it worked. It workes as good as it looks, 100 rounds, not a single FTF or FTE. I shot free style, strong hand only, and weak hand only, no problems. I think I embarressed the man next to me at the range. We were shooting at 15 yards. The Kimber was making a raggid hole on center, this guy could not hit the black consistently. He left after about 15 minutes.

Picked the pistol up Monday night. It's beautiful. No other way to say it. He even stippled the grip screws! Added some Coco Bolo grip panels he had. Real nice.

If you want to have your 1911 worked on, call Brian Bilby.

PS. Thanks Jim V for the information on ranges.
