I have looked around alot for the best price on a Kimber Compact stainless aluminum. Here in Northern AZ the best price is $769 but I found a place in Phoenix that will sell it for $669. That is the best price I have found. It was $650 before the UPS rate increase which seems to have been passed on by Kimber to its customers and dealers. You got a good price by AZ standards. I will decide on the Kimber or a Colt CCO by tomorrow. I do not like the Kimbers' MIM parts or the non-stainless barrel on the stainless Compact model. Otherwise it is a great gun. On the Colt I will have to replace the plastic trigger and plastic mainspring housing ( as is on the Kimber).
