I just bought a new Kimber pro carry 1911 .45 acp. I took it to the range and put 100 rnds through it. I actually had to stop firing it because my finger hurt too badly to continue. At first it was just irritated when I would fire, then it made a blister, then it opened the blister and I called it a day.
Any idea what is causing the problem? (It has grooves cut vertically on the trigger). Could it just be that I am not gripping it hard enough?
p.s. Is there anything better than a 1911 trigger?
