KEyholing suppressor

Can a can cause a round to keyhole without actually contacting the round as it passes through? I get nice round dots without and long slots with. Not to mention accuracy goes to hell:( I see no signs of internal impacts at all. I only seem to have problems with the short barreled pistol but not the rifle. I am thinking I may need a longer barrel for the pistol to stabalize the bullet better. Any help would be appreciated. BTW the threads are straight on both guns so it isn't that.

Does the can have a removeable endcap? Appears that the endcap is not perfectly straight. Similar to the crown on a barrel theory.
Has this happened since you've had the can or has this started recently?
If it's from a reputable dealer, they should stand behind their product if it's truy defective.

If this is not from a "major" respected manufacturer it could be that the internal gas forces are pushing it out of whack as it leaves the can. Is possible that the muzzle exit from the can is the cause.
