I still see a ton of Kerry/Whats his name bumper stickers here in Northern Kalifornia hardly any Bush stickers. What is it like across America?I need a reality check.
Well, in the People's Republic of Boulder, there are probably more Kerry stickers on Volvos and Saabs now than there were before the election. And exactly no Dubya stickers. What really cracks me up is the large number of Kucinich (sp?) stickers still out. They love that guy in Boulder. A guy I work with still has his picture on his cube wall.
Oh, you asked for a reality check. Sorry. Never mind.
Austin is Texas' only liberal city north of the valley. Here there are both a lot of Kerry stickers and the little stickers with the "W" which is crossed out (like the "no smoking" sign). I have no problem with people expressing themselves. What makes me mad is that several friends of mine put Bush-Cheney bumper stickers on their cars, which were promptly vandalized by the "tolerant" liberal city.
There are still a few Kerry stickers on cars here in middle Tennessee. There are fewer W stickers here than before, but they probably still outnumber the Kerry stickers 20-1. But then, W easily defeated Kerry in TN last election, as well as Al Gore in this, his home state in the first election. Go figure...
I see about an equal number here in San Diego. But this is a military town, and doesn't really reflect the rest of California.
Personally, I don't tarnish my truck with a stick for either of those goofballs. California Rifle and Pistol Association and Gadsden Flag on my ride!
I see more anti-Bush bumper stickers than Kerry anything, especially around the vacinity of any college. I think most people have gotten over the election, and have focused on complaining about the result. As long as they voted, they have that right.
With Bush's approval rating so low, I wonder if Kerry had won, what his approval rating would be right now?
Here in Indiana we looked at the calendar and just happen to note that the election is over. Which is a relief now we can get back to the important stuff--cook outs with grilled veggies and breaded pork, euchre tournaments, basketball, swearing under our collective breaths at the General Assembly in Indianapolis, and shooting guns.
Ohhhhhh yeah. In Iowa, the Kerry stickers are still on the soccer-mom's cars and cute little SUV's. I'm like, "you lost, take off the stinkin' sticker and face the music." Sheesh.
The Great Lakes State seems to me about a 4 to 1 Bush sticker leading.... A few of the W with a line through it....... Guess they ran out of ink to finish the sticker. I for one am sick of the whole dang thing...... take em all off and slap an NRA for Life on to cover the sticky spot......
Around here, there seem still be quite a few W stickers, Kedwards are nowhere near as common, anti-Bush stickers are unheard of, support the troops stickers are the most common. The closer you get to Atlanta itself, the more Kerry stickers you see.
I've seen about 50:1 Bush: Kedwards. No surprise there. I'm in College Station, one of the few remaining conservative universities remaining just up the street.
We put our "W" sticker on AFTER the election. Not because we were afraid to have it on before the election, but rather because we couldn't get ANY before the election! We tried the Bush HQ here several times and they were always sold out. Finally bought a couple on eBay afterwards.
