In a speech at NYU this AM, Senator Kerry launched into a scathing criticism of the president, accusing him of lying to and misleading the people of the US re. our war with Iraq and lying to and misleading the soldiers who now fight there. Saying that he has a history of 'telling truth to power' Kerry stated that he has a plan for success in Iraq and that he has been the one telling the truth about Iraq all of the time. Kerry stated that his 'plan' would have our troops home in 4 years. He says that he knows what it's like to be abandoned in the field by those who make decisions based on pride and arrogance rather than sound policy.

I have see manure spreaders that flung less feces than
this guy.

The same John Kerry who voted to authorize the use of force in Iraq based on the same information that the President had.
The same John Kerry who's entire career is built on a bulwark of collaboration with and appeasement of our enemies now accuses others of lies and deceit.
The same John Kerry who's campaign doctors up fraudulent memos in an attempt to smear the President.
The same John Kerry who shat on his fellow soldiers after bugging out of the combat zone; who called them baby killers, rapists and arsonists before the Senate now feels obligated to honor them.
The same John Kerry who's two faced voting record has helped sow the seeds of confusion and lack of support in Iraq.
The same John Kerry who's anti military voting record would have rendered us incapable of fighting Honduras.
The same John Kerry who has consistently missed Senate Foriegn Relations Committee meetings in which Iraq war strategy has been discussed in great detail and advice forewarded to the President.

I used to be rendered speechless by the utter lack of shame demonstrated by Bill Clinton, but this guy Kerry makes Clinton look like a neophyte by comparison. Does Kerry not understand that Americans read, discuss, have memories, investigate, fact check??? He is, without a doubt, the most arrogant, shameless political animal (weasel) that I have ever seen. I hope that he loses by the largest landslide ever.

The same John Kerry who voted to authorize the use of force in Iraq based on the same information that the President had.
Don't forget, the same John Kerry that voted against giving the troops additional funding.

But, methinks that by this time, you are preaching to the choir.

Why doesn't he honor the troops by taking advantage of the opportunity to jump off the mid-span of the GWB?

Maybe he meant the French troops. :barf:

He would honor them ........

Just like he did in 1971
How can he even say that with a straight face? If I were a vet I don't think I would have been as polite as those who have been at his "infomertial" presentations.

Honor them eh? By casting votes for troop welfare based only on the results of focus groups and polls, by insulting their fathers and Vietnam-era predecessors, by slinging baseless accusations against the current Commander-in-Chief, and by recommending that they are put into the custody more or less of the UN???

I for one wouldn't consider that honoring the troops.
