A friend (an IPSC shooter in Europe) sent me a link to a Youtube video of Ian McCollum interviewing Ken Hackathorn about the creation of IPSC, USPSA, IDPA, and 3-Gun.

It's (IMHO) a very interesting and enjoyable video.
