KelTec P32

I know these are inexpensive and not made of great quality, but I've been hearing pretty good things about them. Anyone have one or carry one. Let me know what you think. Any jams or malfunctions or problems? What do you guys think of them? I figured when I'm wearing clothes that I can't really conceal a gun. the P32 might fit the bill. They also have a clip for them that can clip to the gun and then fit inside the pocket or pants. Anyone have this?

i've been carrying a "p-shooter" for a couple of months now. the little belt clip thingy is great for sticking inside your waistband and forgeting it's there. fits in any pocket, too. the surprising thing is that the little gun shoots great! accurate about as you would expect, points well for me, no ftf or fte's so far. good factory support also. i don't leave home without it.

We are very satisfied with ours. We prefer Makarovs, BUT when the Makarov is not comfortable for a trip into the woods, rather than nothing, the Keltec is fine. We were out in the woods yesterday and shot a few more boxes of ammo with the Keltec and it was great. Accurate, reliable and tiny.

Look. There aren't 10mm blasters but for self defense shootings close up to 15 feet, you can quickly shoot some palm-sized groups.

That's way more accurate than any other gun for its size and what, a quarter of the price of a Seecamp and much cheaper than a NAA Guardian.

Fluff and buff that baby and for $239, you won't find a better pocket rocket.

I haven't seen one for sale used in the past what, year and a half since they've been out. I can't say that even about Glocks, Sigs, HKs, or the like.

And they can be bought in hard chromed slide for another $20 more and some really nice pocket holsters by Robert Hedley. You can easily carry that P-32 front or back pocket.

Here is what my pocket rig looks like:

Yup...P-32's are great little pistols.

I use mine as a "hide-out" in a DeSantis ankle holster. It has been the only pistol that I can put in an ankle holster and truly forget it's there. I wish I could post a picture of mine. It has a hard chrome top end and a gray grip frame. I think it's beautiful! Never a malfunction, except when I tried to install the factory metal guide rod. I tried two, both caused the slide to jam about half way back. I took this as an omen and just bought a few of the plastic rods. (Even though none have broken.)
Oh, and by the way. I keep it stoked with those hot .32ACP Cor-Bons. :)

I had to get rid of my P-32 because I started carrying it all the time, even when I could have comfortably carried my P-11. Had some problems with rimlock until I replaced the mag spring with a stouter one from Wolf. Surprisingly accurate for such a small pistol. The pocket clip is definately worth it. I saw a used one chrome with grey grip for $190 last weekend and if it's still there after friday (payday) it may well come home with me.

As I have posted here before many times, I own a P-11 and a
P-32. Both have the hard chrome uppers, and I believe they are as good looking as they are good shooters. The P-32 goes everywhere it can legally go, but I find myself like Okie Cruffler and carrying it when I could carry the P-11. And I really like to carry the P-11 IWB. I bought the DeSantis Apache ankle rig, but I bought it for the P-11, and I carry the P-32 in it sometimes. Not the best idea, as the padding on the back seems a bit too thick, and general size is not the best for my small frame. I use the belt clip or pocket carry for the P-32 most of the time. I use a DeSantis pocket holster, but the Headly line looks like a great product.

There are a few here who unfortunately got lemons, but I think the majority are very happy with theirs. The only thing I still intend to do with mine is get a black frame instead of the green, which was all that was available at the time I bought it. I did already add the pocket clip, which is a very handy accessory. In the event you do get one with problems, Kel-Tec is very good at setting things right.

I actually prefer the nice military OD green of my P32. But, I guess only a veteran would find it attractive :)

I have owned my P-32 hard chromed model for two years now and it has not malfunction yet. I also bought the P-40 and sent it back to the factory for night sights and I had the slide and barrel hard chromed. They are great handguns and I highly recommend them, in fact six of my friends have bought them based on my recommendation.

OK, I've looked all over and I can't find it. I know a lot of you have the hard chrome slides, and you really like them. Is there any functional reason for that -- or is it purely cosmetic? I can't stand the mystery any more!!!

Chrome has much greater rust protection than blue or parkerized. I think they look nicer too. The red sights on the chrome really stand out.

Runner,

That "OD" green grip frame looks SOOO good that I almost wish I'd picked that one instead of the gray. I keep going back to the picture. (For drooling purposes, you understand. :))

History has shown that hard chromed finishes are the most durable.

Its quite sweat resistant. And for a pocket pistol, that's key.

My hard chromed 1984 P7 looks almost brand new.

For 20 bucks Keltec will hardchrome you slide and barrel of any of their products. Simply take the slide and barrel off, box it up and send it by USPS back to the factory and in about a week you will have your hard chromed goodies back...
