Kel-Tec Sub 2000 9mm/Sub 9?

Not sure where to post this,but whos got the Sub 2000 9mm foldup and how do you like it?

2000's aren't out yet. I have a very early Sub-9 w/ Smith grip.

One of these days, I'll get another...after I pay off the custom guns, gun in layaway, etc!

Maybe this should be a sub-9? I saw a wholesalers catalog,saw a folding 9mm for $239 and thought how cool it would be. Got sub 2000 name at Kel-Tec website.

They mention on their website that the folding rifles will accept other brand name magazines, including Glock. It folds to a length of 16" and weoghs in at 4 lbs. Quite possibly a buy.

BUy it and the siftside zip bag. Looks like you are carrying a laptop? Mines setup for Glock clips,9mm. Awesome fun gun accurate too! The GeeWhiz factor & attention alone are great. I bought mine as a great "end of the world" gun. Easy to conceal, lightweight, 9mm Nato ammo? See where I'm going? Perfect for urban warfare and just damn fun!

The whole idea is so cool,i'll probably bring one in.Then again, i could get a Hi-Point 9mm carbine and 1000 rounds of ammo for the price of the Kel-Tec.Decisions-Decisions!

Shot one several years ago and the only criticism I can level at it (other than not having full auto capability) is the buttstock. It's crescent shape and I prefer the reverse crescent shape of the HK-91 collaspable stock. The shorter (in height) reverse crescent allows you to mount the gun higher, thereby bringing the sights closer in line with the eye and reducing the cant required in the head. This gives you better peripheral vision.

Well, yeah...but I could still get multiple hits on target PDQ, in the classes I took. Just watch your hand when retracting the bolt handle!

I don't think the Sub-2000 has shipped yet, so I think all these comments are on Sub-9's right?

The sub 2000 will ship this fall,so it is a sub 9? I'd just like to know if the 2000 is worth waiting for?

Sub-9/40: aluminum receiver, higher suggested retail.

Sub-2000: polymer receiver, lower suggested retail, product improvements.
