That is a pretty decent price, the first one (blued) I got was for $219 and the latest parkerized one I picked up was $269.

good price in most places, demand is very high - buy it.
you can send the slide, assembly pin and recoil spring catch to kel-tec and for $20 they will REPLACE those parts with chrome parts. can send these regular mail - no serial # on these parts. they pay return shipping so order an extra mag & whatever else you need.
takes 2-5 weeks depending on when they get replacement parts from the company that chromes for them.
 
A few months ago I bought one with the hard chromed slide and one mag for $289.00. Love it. No problems and I can shoot anything.
 
Bought one in blue a few months ago for $ 230.00 - $ 245.00 is not a bad price. Have seem them for $ 300.00.
 
It was gone by the time I decided I wanted it. Too bad. They must really be hot items. I'll find one again I am sure.

Dont know where your at, but if youre around the Austin TX area there are 4 currently in stock at local dealers. McBrides 1@ $269 (blued), Reds 1@ $252 (blued), Heritage 1@ $249 (blued) and 1@ $269 (chrome).

i live in austin too. bought my first at mcbrides for $249 last december. bought the 2nd for $197 at "cost + 10%" in austin.
bought another one there 2 weeks ago for $202. that was good timing, i happened to stop in just as it arrived.
not bad prices but he has only been able to get 4 of them (small dealer) & i've gotten 2 of the 4.
going to sell the 3rd one to a friend out of state who can't find any where he is.
