Kel-Tec P32

I thought I'd pass on my positive experience with my KelTec P32. I got to the range this afternoon for the first time with my newly acquired P32 (SERIAL # 38XXX). I have been looking for a good, reliable back-up and everyday pocket pistol for some time. Although I have read mixed reviews on the P32, I figured I would give it a chance. I ran 50 rounds of Winchester 71 gr. FMJ thru the weapon without a problem. It cycled perfectly! Every round from the first was "on the target"...certainly no "tight groups", but that's not what the pistol was designed for. I then ran 16 rounds of Federal 65 gr. "Hydra-Shok" JHP without a problem! I plan to carry the Federal as my "everyday" round. I feel confident that my P32 will perform when needed!

I'm confident it will as well...

I carry S/N 021xx everday during the summer and it has been called on twice this season to dispatch varmints while I was mowing my small acreage.

Even though neglected for a full six weeks, it performed without a hitch when I needed to repel a vicious and mean spirited turtle that had taken up residence at my pond.

Good pistols, in my experience.

I have several "pocket pistols" and...

..my P-32 is the only one which doesn't care what type of ammo I feed it. Absolutely everything which I've stuffed into the mag went BANG!
A lot of times I carry my P-32 in an ankle holster. It's perfect for that. Thin, light..I forget it's there most of the time.

Everybody needs a P-32 to fill the gap between a .22lr target plinker and a 9mm or larger CCW gun. It's lots of fun to shoot!

With the belt clip, it can ride anywhere.

With the new 10 round mags, the butt is big enough to grasp in a firing grip from a clipped IWB position, if you hide it under a covering garment. But for pocket carry, the 7 round mag is superior.

A loaded p-32 is thinner and lighter than a loaded spare mag of almost anything else!

I like Fiocchi or S&B FMJ ammo best, for penetration, because I don't want to rely on uncertain expansion in such a small caliber.
Also, it's cheap and readily available, and I don't mind shooting it up, unlike the expensive premium stuff which is too valuable to rotate on a regular basis.

Mine is serial # 017xx, an ancient veteran, nearly two years old.:D

Slow? Turtles? Well, all things are relative I 'spose.

The ducks that winter on my pond every year thank me for it... and they're alot more tasty!
