Kel-tec P32 review updated.

Love that first website comparing the P32 to a pack of cigarettes or the remote control. Oleg, just like you, I had to send in my cracked slide after 200 rounds. I passed up on the chrome job for now, as there was a 4-5 week wait period, so I'll mail it to Kel Tec when the timing is right. My P32 shoots great now. No more light strikes and the accuracy is quite decent, though the gun is shooting a bit low. Most important is the good reliability now, as I conceal the P32 daily.

If there was anything I'd fix about the P32 is would be
1)sights: put a "ghost ring" rear which would preserve the snag-free quality of the original
2)shorter, more Glock-like trigger

However, if evaluated against other mouseguns, the P32 shines. At least I plan on buying another one shortly.

The P-32 is a fantastic gun. I can't say enough good things about it. The Hard Chrome upgrade is tremendous(only $20!).The gun shoots any ammo including +P's, is accurate and weighs less then any other semi-auto pistol. What more could anyone want?

Oleg, I agree with you about the sights on the P32. If nothing else I'd like to see a more prominant front sight, possibly something that could be fitted with a tritium insert. As it is the P32 is a fine little mouse gun.
I've put around 250 rounds through mine and the only malfunction I've seen is the failure to lock the slide back on the very first magazine I ran through it. Since that time it has been 100% reliable and surprizingly accurate for what it is. Mark / FL

Outside of a problem with ejecting that was fixed with parts Kel-Tec replaced within two days, the little devil works flawlessly. I had the slide and magazines nickle-plated at Fusilier's in Texas. Good job and had the slide and magazines back in ten days. A really fun gun to shoot.

Oleg, please don't take this as a flame; but, I have to ask. Why did you take it so easy describing the P32's CRACKED SLIDE, one of "several" that you are aware of? Yet, by contrast, you were almost unforgiving of the Kahr P9's relatively minor problem with a slide stop spring? Is it the fact that you may have had higher expectations from the more expensive Kahr?

BTW, it is a great addendum to an excellent review. :)

The Kahr was bought to replace an ailing Kel-tec P11 and I did have higher expectations of a new expensive pistol.

P32 failed after certain amount of use. Further, I would be MUCH less forgiving of its faults had ANYTHING similar existed by other maker (locked breech tiny .32acp). As KT has a unique product I try to make it work rather than, as with the non-unique P11, look for a replacement.

Kahr P9 is currently my favorite defense gun. I plan a review of it shortly. I was just peeved that it arrived broken in a way that was obvious had it been tested before shipping.

Oleg, what did you have to do in order to send your gun back to Kel-Tec? I fired 20 rounds through my P32 and the trigger failed to reset. It just rests snugly against the back of the frame. So far I am VERY disappointed. I looked for a P32 for over 6 months before I finally found one only for me to get a dud!

I brought the gun and a note on what was wrong with it to a local store. They send it using US Mail and charged me less than $10 to do it (shipping and insurance cost). KT turned it around in less than a week to my doorstep.
