I've seen these 12 rounders for sale that have a "Kel-Tec" extended finger rest and was wondering if you have used just an "ordinary"69 series mag without the Kel-Tec rest? I might get a P11 and would like to have the extra 2 rounds with the "regular" 69 series mag,as it is much cheaper than the "Kel-Tec" finger rest mag.Does this mag look stupid without the Kel-Tec finger rest when its in the gun,and does it extend out of the bottom of the grip alot?

All of(or at least every one I`ve seen) the factory 69 series mags have a finger rest on them. It differs slightly fron the Keltec finger rest. It`s pretty much useless when using them in the P-11 because there`s a 1/4" gap between the bottom of the grip and the finger rest. I swapped mine for a flat baseplate and just use it that way although it`s not the most comfortable thing in the world. I don`t use it much (usually just as a spare) but one of these days I`m gonan get the plastic collar from Keltec that goes on 59 series mags and cut it down to fit. At one time Keltec did make a filler collar for 69 series mags but I`ve never seen one and when I had my dealer order one it never came in. Marcus
