I've had good results using Winchester 115gr FMJ for practice, Winchester Silvertips intended for defense. Only one jam with a Silvertip (during break-in period). Nice thing is that the FMJ's shoot exactly to point of aim at 15 yards, the Silvertips slightly left at the same distance.
I`ve tried just about everything through mine with no problems. For practice I generally use whatever I can find cheapest at gunshows. For carry I like something light and hot to help makeup for the short barrel. 115gr.+P Triton and Corbon generally. Marcus
Mine have digested, without problems, ammo from Sellier & Bellot, CCI (both Blazer and Lawman), Israeli Militray Industries, PMC Eldorado, Winchester, Ammerican Ammunition, and Remington.

For carry, I found the silvertips and golden sabers to be best. I never had my pistol jam with any ammo, but it does seem that with hydrashoks, when I am chambering a round it seems to hit against the feed ramp and hang up for a split second just before the action closes probably due to the shape of the bullet and nose cavity although i naturally only notice this when manually chambering a round.. the silvertips and sabers work smoothly as does any kind of hardball.

I use CorBon 115 +p in mine for carry most of the time. I happen to be out of the CorBon right now and am carrying HydraShocks.
For practice, I use whatever is the cheapest at the time. Winchester, S&B, Russian.
The only round my P-11 doesn't like is the Blazer.
