KEL TEC KSG

Just bought a KSG and I am experiencing loading issues. It seems that the base of the shell is catching on the mag tube. Does anyone know if this is a common problem? I was thinking of taking the weapon apart and polishing the mag tube ends or should I give KEL TEC a call, any advice would be appreciated.

Ksg

Well I personally would contact Kel-Tec first before you do ANYTHING! As you said in your post it might be a common problem or it could be a factory defect and be fixed by them.

But if you decide to fix the problem yourself remember your modifying the weapon and the warranty for the weapon will become null and void.

Now that being said polishing the parts that are in question should be done very carefully. Just take it slow and file the tubes down a little bit at a time.

I hope this helps you.

In a recent thread, dajerseyrat reported problems with his KSG. A return trip to the factory seems to have made it right. Some suspect quality control has slipped in their effort to rush production.

I think I hate you a little bit...

Kel-Tec is known for being pretty good with customer support, although I swear they use the same script as Dell Computers (Is it plugged in? Are you Sure?)

Thanks for the input, I do belive that I will be calling KEL TEC today. Oh and Stressfire don't hate, it just happened to fall into my lap yesterday, but I did pay more than double MSRP:(

but I did pay more than double MSRP

Ouch! Ok, you're forgiven:) I don't think I'd pay that much

I do want one, but as with any new design, I think I prefer to wait...let all the kinks get worked out.
