KEL TEC 9

I have a Kel-Tec P-11 with about 500 rounds through it without a single problem. It has fed anything from gun show reloads to Cor-Bon and Proload +P without any problems. In short, I like it :^)

The trigger gives some people grief. It took me a while to get used to the long pull as most of my shooting was with my Glocks.

The gun is plenty accurate for its intended use and conceals well. It is considerably easier to conceal than the Glock 26 I have.

There are some lemon P-11s out there but I think most of them are just fine. If you want to visit the Kel-Tec Owners Group Website point your browser to: http://www.ktog.org there is a lot of information there.

I have a Kel Tec P11 that I use as a "vehicle" gun. I have fired several hundered rounds of quality ammo without a single problem. I tried using the cheapie stuff like UMC and Winchester white box but had many failures to feed. With good ammo It has worked flawlessly. Accuracy is good up to 50 feet, after that it spreads out quite a bit. Overall its a very good close quarters defense pistol.

The old saw is that "you get what you pay for," but with the Kel-Tec P11, you really get more...

Its a good solid, reliable gun. Early models had some problems, but new production (for the last year or so) have been virtually trouble free.

I second Dean's suggestion that you visit the Kel-Tec Owners Group as www.ktog.org.

(I have many handguns, but the P-11 is the one I carry most often when carrying concealed.)

I carry my KT P-32 most often now.

I found the P-11 to be considerably smaller than the G-27. (Which I don't find to be appreciably smaller than the 23, which I still have. Though I'm considering getting rid of the 23, now...since I rarely wear it...)

I fired perhaps 100 rounds through my P-11 the last range session. Maybe more (was with friends). One malf, failure to fully chamber. Easily remedied. Solid value in a concealable gun. If you can learn to shoot this one well, you will be able to shoot a good single-action auto like it's Class 3.

I concur. No problems with mine except an extractor breakage after a buuuunchhhhhh of rounds. I really like mine. If you have a problem, KelTec will make it right. I am impressed with KelTec, so much so, I also bought the P-32, a great deep concealment pistol.

I love mine :D
Not a single problem with it yet

Have owned the P11 for over 2 years. Have had no working problems with it. If you get a new one, even high serial number model, most owners recommend a clean up and lube. In addition to the long trigger pull remember that it is a double action pistol, similar to double action revolvers. If you're familiar with that kind of action you should have no problems. Another thing for those new to small, lightweight pistols is the need for a firm grip. Most complaints about jams and stove pipes have been traced to the dreaded limp wrist. With a firm grip, practice and clean and lube any pistol should get, you've got a very fine and economical fire arm.
