Adding a new caliber always means new dies. Wal-Mart gets 33 bucks for 20 rounds of 30.06.
A quick inventory check revealed no 30.06 dies in the house. Hmm, I do have 7mm Mag and 257. Weatherby mag. Very unlikely those two calibers will be coming home anytime soon.
2 for 1 works for the store to make a profit, and works for me, esp. since they had my preferred RCBS dies in 30.06 like new.
It's been a minute since I have reloaded for rifle, this will be fun.
I've been pumping out 12 gauge for my trap habit for some time. I'll load up the rest of my 12 gauge components and start buying flats for a while, can't save enough to make 12 gauge worth it now.
