Kansas City gun shop recommendations

I will be in the KC area in a few weeks (on a Saturday), and will have some time available after taking care of business. Can anyone recommend a 'perfect' store to visit; you know, great selection, helpful and knowledgeable staff, good location so the rest of the family has other places to shop while I look? Thanks in advance.

I will be going to the airport, which I believe is on the northwest side; but if there is a good one anywhere in the metro area I'd like to know about it. I have been in, through, and around the City several times on business trips.

If your going to be there the last weekend of April there is going to be a 700 table gunshow in Kansas City.

tl,
several good gunshops in KC. Dennys Guns in NKC, Great Guns (outstanding prices) in Kearney,
The Bullet Hole (w/gun range) in SW KC. I cant think of any where you can play while the family also shops.

Terridarri,
are you coming up for the gunshow next weekend?

ScottMO,
Gunslinger and I will be set up at the gunshow next week, look us up. We will have molded leather and stretch concealment holsters on our table, stop by and howdie us. You will notice Gunslinger he will be wearing black and will be in a wheelchair.

Terridarri, I won't be in KC until June 10, so will miss the show; this one sounds interesting. Thanks scottMO, will keep your recommendations. Don't have a KC phonebook, but the online directory was only a listing, which didn't tell me much.

Galyan's would be the only place to go while the rest of the family goofs around. It is a sporting goods store, albeit a very nice one, which means sub-par service.
