Kansas CCW, Senators needing contact?

I understand SB418 a carry bill in Kansas may be up for a vote in the senate as early as Feb.9. I don't live in Kansas, but I would like to see one less "right denied" state. Anyone have email addresses and names of any Kansas senators that may need encouragement. Phone numbers would be good as well.

Does anyone know what the name of the bill is?

I've sent letters, today, to my State Representative and Senator as well as a letter to the Governator. The letter included a copy of one of several articles I've found on the internet which reflect on a recent Supreme Court ruling that says you and I have not right to police protection. I doubt that some of our politicians are aware of this.

Bob

Bill number 418, the Personal and Family Protection Act, passed the Senate today, 29 to 11, which is veto proof.

Now, on to the House, where a veto proof margin is less certain. We're still assuming a veto by Governor Sebelius.

All help appreciated.

Bob

Robert, Do you have any idea when it will be coming up for a vote? Do you have names, phone numbers and email addresses of any reps that it would be critical to contact. If you do I'd put them on the IllinoisCarry site, we'd like to help make another state "shall issue".

I'll get em. I don't know when the House vote will be, but I'll find out.

Thanks.

Bob

Below are the email addresses for all the members of the Kansas House. We need a veto proof majority, because Mrs. Sebelius is sure to veto.

Thanks,

Bob
