Thats right boys and girls! Its time to welcome the cold weather..

Who cares about it gettin' cold anyway? Gun toters do!

Colder weather == jacket wearin' == bigger carry guns! :D

Almost time to bring the big autos outta retirement... Anyone else doin' the same?

Gotta agree, in SC it went from 90+ to 70'ish. I'm now tote'n a hi-cap 1911, full time. Since I bought this gun(my first handgun) i've been waiting for this day.

Cold weather? Where? When? Down here in the southern Florida swamps, it stays in the 80's in the "cold" of winter so you can just imagine what it's like during the rest of the year.

By the way KaMaKaZe, what are you doing here at this hour? Don't you have to be in work in a few hours? Better grab those ZZZZZ's.

Regards, FUD.

Fud, you be lucky in that ammo for summer is the same as ammo for winter for you. Some of us get to consider the possibility of an unscheduled visitor wearin multiple layers of clothing.

My guns stay the same, just need a tad more oomph to blow through the threat.

Sam....my favorite 9mm is the 9X32R

Sam, I alternate my ammo every other round since I'm not completely convinced if slow & heavy is the answer or lite & fast is best -- as a result, I go both ways on this one

Figure that it's better to be half wrong than all wrong. Regards, FUD.

Wow!

It went from 90s- to 60s+ here overnight!

Not quite cold enough yet.. but I'm a waitin'..

Me & FUD will trade you our 12" misquito's and 90 deg temps for some of your cold weather, how about it ? I've heard that that cold weather stuff is pretty nice, although, living in FL it's only rumor.

Oh, well this is just typical Georgia weather for me.

Say, mind if I fly down there with a few .22s and we can go mosquito hunting? Listening to all these stories of my old man shootin' flys on the wall with his fraternity brothers back in the day has gotten me anxious to go on a bug hunt. :D

It was 109 here Tuesday!
in Houston

We are a ways off from any cool weather, but at least dove season has started.

KaMaKaZe:

Sure come on down, but I think you'll need a little more firepower then a .22, they'd probably only get mad if you shot em with that.

Fud, you alternate em in the mag. In the fall and spring when the weather is ?? I have .357 one side and .44 on tuther. Same effect. Little gun for crows and big un for skeeters. Jframe for bad guys.

What neck of the wood here in SC ya frm? I'm in the "Piedmont"

Regarding the topic, YES! For more reasons than one!

I can't carry, I just desperately NEED cold weather to survive. FLorida would be the death of me. Then again, Indiana has the weather and CCW in the same place.

Cool weather... where? 111 on Monday, dropped down to 95 today. Never thought I'd say that mid 90s felt good.

jcoyoung -- LOL

I have to sit next to this guy all day. I've blessed him so many times I think I may be in line to become some type of priest or something! :D
