On the topic of state slogans, DC is changing their license plates to "Taxation Without Representation." Congress may try to block it though. ;)

Ok, that drifted a bit farther OT but at least it's a real change....
 
Well, here's our new state flag. BTW, the state flower here in CA is the golden poppy.

Given the blissful indifference by many to the serious loss of freedoms in this state, I submit that the opium poppy is far more fitting.
