Kali Bans Have One Benefit IMHO

Well, if Kali (after all) bans guns (hand or otherwise), there is only one good thing I can see: Hollywood types would(?) turn in their studio armories (including blank shooters because thay are dangerous too) and I'd not have to watch scenarios whereby 10000 rounds are fired and no one gets hurt (until specific heroes or bad guys are scripted as "hit").

Don't get me wrong, I like well-done action flicks, but somehow 28 shots from a 5 or 6 round cylinder, or 40 or 50 from a SA is a bit much. And 100's of rounds sprayed from auto-weps in a closed space without concurrent casualties? Well ...

Anyway, you get the point of the post; the next generation of flicks will either be more gentler/kinder, more peaceful, or they'll be more "pieceful" - bloodier/more gory - as we drift back to non-banned items (knives, axes, sticks and stones etc.) ... after all slashes and stabs open more flow paths than puncture holes.

Invest in blades and whatever they use as "blood" - should be a good money-maker.

Actually, the laws have specific provisions that allow "Movie Companies" a loophole.

They are not subject to the current bans, like movie companies really need "real" guns, versus "prop" guns.

I have always found the concept of the Hollywood 'weapons wrangler' to be rather interesting. From what I understand they get all the latest cool stuff.
Makes you wonder how you get a job doin' that...
