Kal. AW registration question

Please, no patriot bashing, or comments about un-constitutional laws. Lots of places have them, and until a court somewhere says they are nul and void I will be law abiding. Thank you.

My question, on the weapon details one field asks "Type". I can't get anyone at the Kal DOJ on the phone and of course the website is not to help you comply, just telling you to do so.

I have already guessed "Make" and "Model" (Bushmaster, XM-15-ES), I was guessing "Type" would be (for me) Rifle.

Anyone concur?

Yup... Rifle seems appropriate...

I am wondering if I really want to submit the info, and what they will eventually do with it.

Certainly leaves an uneasy feeling in my stomach.
 
Rifle seems like a good answer, but that can be determined from the barrel length question. In the case of Bushmaster, I might think you could put in "National Match","Target A3" or "Carbine", etc.

I had the same question a couple of weeks ago. I called DOJ and type is either rifle or pistol.
