Kahr with NYC Trigger

I've read in a couple of different gun rags about Kahr pistols with a NYC trigger pull (the trigger pull is increased by several pounds to the point where is feels like a double action revolver) but I can't seem to find any additional on this. I contacted Kahr directly and they basicly told me that they didn't know what I was talking about. I also contact a few customs places that do a lot of work on Kahrs and they've told me that they do not yet offer anything along these lines.

Any additional info that anyone can provide would bre appreciated. Share what you know, learn what you don't -- FUD

The NY trigger option is for Glocks. I've never heard of one for a Kahr. The only trigger work I've ever heard of on a Kahr (except the Elite trigger) is John Quintrall's recontouring of the trigger itself. It apparently changes the shape but not the weight.

The NY-1 trigger takes a stock Glock from the 5lb. pull to 8lbs. And, it has firm resistance from the beginning of the stroke, instead of the two-stage feel. The Kahrs are also 7lbs+ out-of-the -box, with smooth, even pull. NYPD obviously felt that they qualified just as designed.

FUD:

I am aware of a NY Trigger being offered as an option on Glocks (and can be retrofitted in minutes for small dollars). I've never heard of anything similar for Kahrs.

Note that the trigger feel of Glocks and Kahrs are quite different. The standard Glock trigger is about 5.5 lbs and has a short throw. The Kahr trigger is about 7 lbs and has a significantly longer travel. Can't say as I'd want it to be any heavier myself.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I must have got my facts a little mixed up which would explain why I couldn't find any info on this subject. Although, I wouldn't mind having a slightly greater (by about a pound or two) trigger pull.
