Kahr P9?

I stopped by a local gunshop with the family on the way home today to pick up a mag for my 1911. Inside, we stopped to look at a Kahr P9. My sister(who plans on getting a CCW) next year), likes neither the weight nor the size of my 1911, but was very impressed with this little gun. Honestly, so was I(except for the fact that due to the high grip I take on semis, my thumbs stuck up above the slide). Any thoughts on this gun? Anyone use one as a carry peice? Thanks.

I'm quite impressed with mine so far, and I'm waiting urgently for Oleg's review of his. There are quite a few other posters here who have them also. It is my 2nd choice for carry right now, with a .40 taking the number one slot.

I ought to have the review later this week. It basically looks like a product-improved Glock to me. I will post a review of the P9 and, once my Kel-tec P11 is back, will also do a side-by-side review. The trigger is excellent on the P9, magazines are different from most inthat the top round is at about 15 degrees to the rest of them and points stright into the chamber. I am already impressed. Hope it shoots as good as it looks. http://dd-b.net/olegv/newphotos/lifesavers/s_kahr.jpg As you can see, I have high hopes for it. I do have to note that Glock 36 did have a better (shorter and crisper) trigger...but none of the DAO revolvers I have ever tried or the P11 come even close.
